S D C is one of the leading institutes in Qatar offering specialized in Indian classical dance, Classical music, fine arts, karate, yoga and personality development. It is also a centre of understanding, thought and action. The SDC is a secular institute promoting intellectual and cultural interaction amongst Qataris and expatriates of all other nationalities living in Qatar. We aim to nurture talents of each of our students, enriching their performance skills, there by generating a wider understanding of the art forms. We also prepare advanced students for professional careers in their chosen art form. All students are provided with an opportunity to perform before an encouraging audience consisting of their parents, friends and well-wishers in annual events arranged at the centre every year. MANAGEMENT TEAM Mr P.N. Baburajan Managing Director Mr. P.N. Baburajan Professional Life In 1986, Mr. Baburajan started his official career with ‘Qatar Armed Forces’as an administration staff. For long eight years he worked for the Force and later joined M/s Apollo Enterprisesas Administration Manager. Later the Organization has recognized his potential and gave additional responsibility as the Property Manager of the Company’s Real Estate division and he still continues with the given responsibilities. Media Life Mr. Baburajan is a true journalist and one of the most notable names among the Indian Media Community of Qatar. For long years he was the Qatar correspondent for Kairali TV and special columnist in many of the Indian News Paper dailies and weeklies available in Qatar. ABOUT SKILLS DEVELOPMENT CENTRE Skills Development Centre was founded in 2002 by Mr. P. N. Baburajan, Mr. Karun Menon and Mr. Raghu Aravindakshan. Formally inaugurated on 20th Aug. 2002 at Mumtaza, Opposite Public Health Centre by Shri Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, versatile lyricist and film personality, we shifted to Al Hilal in 2006 and to the current location Salata Jadeed in May 2006.The Founder’s inspiration, hard work, dedication and organizational skills became the motivation for the current team members.
